Your Warranty
All Pagsta Motorcycles sold in Australia through our registered dealer network
come with a warranty commencing from the date of first registration
of the motorcycle to either, the first retail customer, the selling dealer or
Pagsta Australia.
To qualify for this warranty, details of the first registration must be
forwarded to Pagsta Australia within 7 days of that registration.
Should any part of your Pagsta require repair or replacement as a result of
a manufacturing or material defect or failure within the warranty period the
part will be repaired or replaced, completely free by your authorized dealer,
regardless of any change of ownership during that period. Parts so repaired or
replaced will benefit under this same warranty policy for the balance of the
warranty period applicable to the motorcycle.
All and any defective parts replaced under the warranty policy remain the
property of Pagsta Australia Pty Ltd.
Transportation costs that may be incurred either to or from the dealership for
the performance of warranty work is the responsibility of the owner.
Neither Pagsta Australia nor its dealers will be liable for indirect or
consequential costs or damages nor prospective loss of profit or income arising
from the requirement for warranty repairs to be carried out.
Under normal circumstances no responsibility will be accepted where the part has
required repair or replacement as a direct result of:
Misuse or neglect; Inadequate maintenance including failure to have scheduled
service and inspections performed; Failure to observe running in distances; Damage
arising from accidents; Fire: Theft, Racing, Rallying, Motorcross: Fitment of non
genuine parts: Alterations to motorcycle specifications without the manufacturers
consent.
Fitment of non genuine parts and accessories or servicing by non approved
technicians may void your warranty
The warranty does not cover items replaced during normal service and maintenance
operations which are subject to wear. These items include bulbs, fuses, lubricants,
oils and oil filters spark plugs clutch and linings/pads, brake shoes,discs, wheel
alignment, balancing, etc. These parts will only be replaced free of charge if
there is a material defect.
This warranty does not cover any consequential expenses beyond the warranty repair
of the motorcycle itself. The motorcycle owner is responsible for:
-Having scheduled services and inspections performed in accordance with
manufacturer’s recommendations
-Daily pre ride inspection checks.
-Maintenance of body, trim and paintwork.
-Tyre replacement.
THIS WARRANTY IS SUPPLIMENTARY TO, AND DOES NOT IN ANY WAY DETRACT FROM YOUR
STATUTORY RIGHTS UNDER STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS.
